• Daily Reports: Identified threats are swiftly reported to Trading Standards, website hosts, and payment gateways. Consequently, this relentless vigilance has yielded results: over 20 illegal websites shut down in just the past month, with two linked to the distribution of drug-related products.

2. Ensuring In-Store Compliance:

• Mystery Shoppers: Undercover purchases expose non-compliant stores, leading to reports to local Trading Standards.
• Card Payment Flags: Vendors caught selling illicit products get flagged with their card transaction providers, impacting their ability to process payments.
• Join the Fight: Help clean up your local vape scene by supporting OVA’s compliance checks.

3. Rigorous Product Testing:

• Disposables, Pods, and 10ml Liquids: OVA tests these products for adherence to TPD regulations.
• Reports to MHRA: Non-compliant products are promptly reported to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), ensuring industry-wide compliance. A recent test revealed 9 out of 10 Chinese e-liquids failed to meet TPD standards.
